This jam is open to drummers, bassists, guitarists, keyboard players, and vocalists — anyone 21 and over with intermediate or higher skill levels.

Our goal is simple: learn from each other, grow as musicians, and have fun making music together.

If you’re a perfectionist who struggles with patience or kindness, this probably isn’t the right fit.But if you love great music, good vibes, and meeting new friends — let’s jam! 🎸

 I’m a 58-year-old retired public administrator and longtime political and campaign consultant — as well as a proud father of two (36 and 33) and grandfather of two.

I’m an amateur poet, songwriter, and an intermediate bassist still developing my craft. I played in a band back in the early ’90s and picked the bass back up a couple of years ago. At this point, I’m ready to move beyond scales and solo practice — I really want to jam with others again.

I’m not much for the bar scene, so I’m looking to connect with fellow musicians who want to jam, share ideas, and grow together. I’m an intermediate player hoping to step up my game, so if you’re more advanced, I just ask that you be patient — maybe even take on a bit of a mentoring role. 

Other bassists are welcome too, as long as you’re open to teaching and sharing. I’m always eager to learn.

That said, this jam takes place in my home. I’m a grown man who’s been very successful in life, so I’m not interested in egos — just good people who genuinely love music and want a creative outlet with others from different backgrounds and skill levels. Think of it as a bit of musical fellowship.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the music, the creativity, and the company we keep.

  Studio "M" (The Green Room) is a fully equipped home studio in my basement on the north side of Waukegan — no need to haul a ton of gear! The space has a five-piece drum kit, two guitar amps, a bass amp, and a full PA system. Just bring your guitar and pedals, and you’re good to go. Let’s jam! 

There is also a pool table, dart board and Tv's for when you're not playing. It has a private club vibe.
